We began our day with a nice breakfast at the hotel. We started with fresh fruits and Poached Eggs with the set menu for the day, which was a Hot sandwich with Mozzarella cheese, Visheti (local cake), Banana milkshake, Olives, and Avocado.

We had booked the Private Dhow Snorkeling Tour from Jambiani on https://www.getyourguide.com/. We left from our hotel and drove south across the countryside to Jambiani.

We reached Barabara House, left our bags there, and walked to Sweet Beach for the tour.

The Dhow boat experience was nice as we gently cruised over the water.

It was quite hot when we started off and I wasn’t sure how we’d manage on the open boat for a couple of hours, but after getting into the water it seemed fine.

There weren’t too many fishes to see at the snorkelling site, but the water was amazing to just swim in and around the boat.

They also gave us fresh coconut water which was very refreshing after swimming around in the sun.

We headed back to the beach at the end of the tour and walked back for to our hotel for lunch.

We relaxed a little bit in the afternoon and then headed out to see the Kuza cave. It was late by the time we got there so there weren’t many people around.

We chose to do only one activity and headed to the swim in the healing waters of the cave. We were the only ones there, and the water was cool and clean.

We went to Fadhil Restaurant for dinner. The ambience was not great, but the food was freshly prepared and nice.
